My Brother Walt Disney is an interesting comic book written by Alessmo de Santa that reveals the controversial nature of the famous cartoonist. We’ll talk about the book later, but for now I’ll tell you the story of how this book came to me. We were a family this Sunday at the Simple Music concert, which performed music from Disney cartoons. And Disney cartoons are not only beautiful, but also have magical and attractive music, especially old cartoons that immediately revive memories on weekends on TV. I remember when I was a kid rushing home on weekends so I wouldn't miss Duck Stories, Black Cloak, Aladdin or the Little Mermaid. After attending the concert, which took place in the cultural center at the "Khlebzavod", my beloved wife went with her children to the comic book store, where she made everyone happy with her personal niche - I got the comic book, about which we are now talking:) As a result, I did not delay and read the comic in a couple of days and can tell you what was interesting about it: The comic is written on behalf of Walt's brother, Roy, who was a financier for Walt and one of the creators of success. Walt and Roy's family was large but not financially successful - they had to work since high school. The father of the family constantly changed jobs and moved, and was not too easy disposition. Walt and Roy volunteered in World War I and served in Europe, Roy returned with tuberculosis, and Walt with a mountain of experiences. Walt has always been passionate about drawing and after experience in hiring quickly opened his own firm. The firm couldn't make ends meet because Walt was a terrible manager and then he called Roy for help. brothers together for many years led the company to success, but despite the achievements in the field of animation, they almost to the end of their lives had financial difficulties. Walt was a genius of animation and in many everyday things. (Cartoons with sound, color cartoons, full-length cartoons) His studio was a pioneer, but for this, Walt often took risks. Roy was a great manager and managed both financial flows and his brother, who got involved in adventures.

I will not tell the whole story, otherwise it will not be interesting to read the book, and it is definitely worth it to understand the history of the formation of the Walt Disney studio and the history of the people who stood at its origins.
