CPO & CTO Club Meetup

Yesterday and today I have been taking part in a great CTO and CPO meetup organized by Avito and Product Camp. Yesterday evening we met, introduced ourselves, and played a game in which teams came up with ideas and pitched them to each other. At dinner, many guests shared stories about decisions that had changed their lives. By the end, it felt like a kaleidoscope :) The evening finished with time to relax: a cocktail casino, plenty of conversation, and hookahs.

Today was supposed to start with yoga, but I chose to sleep in and made it only to breakfast. Then we played the business game Black Square, making decisions in teams with limited time and fragmented information. I was lucky to have excellent teammates in “London’s Bright Colors.” We worked well together and adjusted our tactics as the rules kept changing. Our team was the only one to make no mistakes across all four rounds, finishing 10% ahead of the runner-up on points. I found the game engaging, fast-paced, and good for developing cognitive flexibility.

Next comes a lecture about the brain by Vyacheslav Dubynin. I recently heard his lecture on the brain and creativity as part of our MBA program and wrote about it. After his talk, we will have time to chat and ask questions, followed by dinner and reflection before heading home :)

Overall, the event has been packed and interesting. I have spoken with many people, discussed engaging topics, worked on cognitive flexibility, and learned more about the brain. Thanks to Avito and Product Camp for organizing it!

P.S. The photos show my first-day teammates. My colleague Sasha Krasnov, CTO of Tinkoff Insurance, was pitching our team’s idea for a glamping franchise that will become a unicorn in 10 years… maybe :)
