IT project management (IT Project Management: On Track from Start to Finish) (Category Management)

Discussed old papers and came across his project manager certificate (PMP). In the meantime, I decided to remember how 17 Years ago, he studied a whole bunch of books on project management when he started studying at the newly opened IBS master’s degree at MIPT:) I bought and cared for several books on the subject, one of which turned out to be Joseph Phillips. The book itself included information on each stage of the project management process, including the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and completion of projects. The main topics covered in the book include defining project requirements, creating feasibility studies, managing project volume and costs, developing project management plans, organizing and managing teams, tracking progress using metrics such as cost performance index, implementing changes, and ensuring ongoing quality management. I remember that the book did not come to me then, and re-reading now I understood why - it is written formally and contains the necessary information, but it looks either formal or obvious. To get something interesting, you need to have experience and carefully read each chapter. Separately, the author actively promoted certification in general, as well as the CompTIA Project+ exam in particular:)

On the head above were two books I had studied at the time.

• "Project business - Adapted model for Russia"
• "Rita Mulcahy's PMP® Exam Prep, Tenth Edition" (This was not the last edition, but much earlier.)

Another interesting thing to note is that the IBS master’s degree was taught not to manage projects. PMI (Project Management Institute)and its alternative in the form of IPMA (International Project Management Association)Or rather, its localized version in the form of SOVINET. To be honest, the same eggs, only in profile:)
