MBA module "Organizational Behavior"
I spend my second day studying in Skolkovo. And yesterday we talked about
- teaching styles Kolba - I have a brief one. sammari Kolb's book, How You Learn Is How You Live, describes the concept.
- Organizational Behavior in Three Levels: person, team, company. Here I remember the stories. The story of Microsoft and its changing culture after Satya Nadella came. The book came out. 2017 Satya talks about how he changed the culture after that “lost decade” and how he became cool again:) I have a short sammari from this book.
- Genius Corporation. ("Creativity, Inc")This is an interesting story about the culture of Pixar. here
- Corporate Tribe. ("The corporate tribe"), which interestingly describes the approach to the study of company cultures from the point of view of "corporate anthropologists", more here
- Situational Leadership and the Basics of Group Dynamics I remember the book "The Principles of Leadership." ("Leading Matters") John Henessy, who is a well-known scientist who co-founded MIPS Corporation, president of Stanford University and winner of the Turing Prize. Details. here
And we ended yesterday with a conversation with Fedor Konyukhov, who told about his adventures and records.
Tomorrow I’ll talk about what I’m going to talk about today:)
