#Writing #SelfDevelopment #PublicSpeaking #Storytelling

In the next lesson, an example of the author’s personal promotion was examined. Larisa Parfentieva told about her path. The main things I learned from the lesson are

  1. Authors have internal standards when writing books, sometimes they interfere with bringing it to the end, which means you need to be able to stop in time.
  2. First you need to write a book and then promote it:) Otherwise, a false start can happen.
  3. The author’s personal brand includes a best-selling book, personal history, social confirmation and professional awards.
  4. Cool if the biography of the author is interesting and easily remembered by readers
  5. It’s important to present your book to friends you know to run word of mouth.
  6. Completing a book increases self-esteem and confidence in other areas of life.
  7. Authors should participate in specialized conferences and work with specialized media (Write articles on your profile topic) Professional awards can help promote a book, but you can do without them.
  8. Marketing requires energy for which it competes with book writing.
  9. If you’re an introvert and don’t want attention, just write brilliant books. The publishers will do the promotion themselves.
  10. A personal history can help in promotion, especially if it is linked to your expert book.
  11. You can hire a specialist in SMM (social media marketing) To help promote the book, or you can lead yourself social networks
  12. But the most important thing is to write good books, because without this, marketing activities will disappear in vain.
